Goswami Pandit Mohit Mudgal Ji Maharaj was born on 29/6/1998 in Jaipur. Maharaj received his early education in Jaipur. From childhood, he had a desire to worship God. At the age of 3, he started chanting the Lord’s name with a Rudraksha mala, astonishing his family. Maharaj’s father, who was engaged in priestly duties, inspired him to engage in devotion to God. Maharaj gained all his knowledge of Bahgavad and spiritual wisdom from his father. Saints and Vedic scholars frequently visited his home, where rituals, chanting, and bhajans were conducted regularly. As time passed, Maharaj went to school to pursue his education, but his heart was still inclined toward devotion to God. Even in school, he continued singing bhajans and anyone who sat beside him would also join in the singing. This became a cause of concern for his teachers. Then, seeking refuge with the renowned classical musician Pandit Jagdish Narayan Sharma in Jaipur, he studied music under his guidance for 7 years. As he grew older, Maharaj embraced the sacred thread and began studying the Vedas. He started living with his spiritual guru and his sole intention was to propagate the Vaishnav religion. At a young age, he had already acquired a vast amount of knowledge, understanding the cycle of birth and death. He gradually developed a strong desire to offer bhajans in the Govind Dev Bhagwan Temple, the revered deity of Jaipur. He made numerous attempts, but God was busy testing him. Nevertheless, with the blessings of his Guru, he decided to follow the path shown to him. In the year 2018, he made his first presentation at the Govind Dev Temple. He subsequently spread the message of religion in various regions. When Radha Krishna Ji Maharaj of Govats Radha Krishna Maharaj Jodhpur arrived at the temple, they became captivated by his recitation and he started studying under them. Maharaj considered Govats Radha Krishna Ji Maharaj as his guru, gradually began serving the holy cows and inspiring other Hari Vaishnavs. In March 2021, he performed the first Nani Bai’s Mayra in Jaipur and became known as Goswami Pandit Mohit Mudgal Ji Maharaj. However, his quest for scriptural knowledge was not yet complete, and he immersed himself once again in his studies. He commenced studying the 18 Puranas. He states that he will propagate the Hari Vaishnav religion selflessly and hoist the flag of Hari Vaishnav religion everywhere. Maharaj, currently 23 years old, has also pursued a B.A. in Music.
